Entrepreneur Nurse will be the vehicle for nurses and allied health professionals to connect with each other and the world, get ideas, learn, innovate, and start companies building on a great tradition, and expanding beyond it.

Entrepreneur Nurse will provide nurses with the information, buzz, network, forums, tools, resources, and training to start businesses or innovate in their current roles, by:

• Providing focused, timely news-they-can-use.
• Bringing them together on-line, in conferences and meetings, to share information, experience, and ideas.
• Defining a path for the new idea of nursing.

The nurses it speaks to will:

• Have started businesses, want to start them, or be thinking about it.
• Want to redefine and expand their current roles, traditional or not.
• Innovate in whatever work they do.
• Want to develop new skills and knowledge.
• Be up with the latest ideas in nursing and beyond.
• Believe that nurses have unique talents, knowledge, and abilities that, freed from external constraints and perhaps their own expectations, can accomplish even greater things.

Entrepreneur Nurse will address the high end of entrepreneurial opportunities for nurses, building on the knowledge, standing, and resources of a top research university. Our members will start and grow companies, found and join healthcare and life science startups, and move into executive roles in the health care field and beyond. They will be innovators and leaders, whether they stay in the nursing mainstream or another field. The common thread is training and experience as a nurse. Beyond that, there are no limits.
